Dave Watton Electrical Ltd is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Downton, Wiltshire, serving the local community and beyond.

Founded in 2011 by Dave Watton, our company has grown from a one-man operation into a trusted team providing expert electrical services across domestic, commercial, and agricultural sectors. After years of subcontracting, Dave took the leap to start his own business, driven by a passion for quality workmanship and personal service. In 2016, we became a Limited Company, with plans to expand further.

Today, Dave leads the team on-site as our head electrician, supported behind the scenes by his wife, Ali, who manages the office, with a little help from their children and the company’s four-legged companions, Sparky and Flash.

What We Do

With over 20 years of experience, Dave and the team offer a full range of electrical services, from small domestic repairs to large-scale installations. We specialise in:

• General electrical work – from replacing sockets to full rewires
• Renewable energy solutions – including Solar PV installation and battery storage
• EV charging solutions – as approved installers for Myenergi Zappi and ICS Charging Points

Operating from our base in Downton near Salisbury, we cover the local area for smaller projects, while our work in renewables and larger electrical contracts extends across Wiltshire, Dorset, and Hampshire.
