Dave Watton Electrical Ltd is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Downton, Wiltshire serving the local area.

Dave heads up the business on-site as the lead electrician, and backed up by his wife Ali in the office along with help from the kids and dogs (Sparky & Flash).

The business was originally established in 2011 by Dave Watton after sub-contracting to local companies for a number of years. After losing a close family member Dave decided to take the plunge and go out on his own. We grew and progressed to a Limited Company in 2016 with pkans to expand the business further.

Since then we have worked as electrical contractors in many areas of the electrical trade in domestic, commercial and agricultural environments. Dave has over 15 years' experience as an electrician and is qualified in many areas of electrical works including Solar PV installation, battery storage and EV charging points. - we offer a full range of electrical services.

We operate from our offices in Downton near Salisbury, on the edge of the New Forest, with a small and busy team. For smaller electrical works we operate in the Salisbury area; for renewables and larger projects we cover the Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire areas.

At Dave Watton Electrical Ltd we pride ourselves on turning around a quality finish for all clients big or small, from replacing a broken socket to complete rewire or part of a large-scale refurbishment and our friendly and reliable electricians are well-versed in this. We only use quality materials and partner with the leading suppliers - to that end we are approved Solar Battery backup providers for GivEnergy and Puredrive, and approved EV point installers for Myenergi Zappi and ICS Charging Points.

We are proud to be members of the NICEIC and have a gained approved contractor accreditation.

We are also BPEC Solar Qualified, City & Guilds qualified, City & Guilds qualified EV Charge Point installers.
